It is even somewhat more sad that interventions from outside are often driven by self-serving purposes of other nations. Examples include the US involvement in Iraq or the noninvolvement of the US in Burundi. The lack of humanism in the motives of "good" states can make one question their "goodness." I agree with Colin, no easy answers to this one, except we should more readily identify when wrong is wrong.Cat Rauckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17421820039053009667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5638402958079714573.post-1680340489906329862011-03-08T15:56:38.234-06:002011-03-08T15:56:38.234-06:00Courtney, I am with you 100%. The question then becomes how much is necessary though, because if one does too much then the good done by the intervener can be swallowed by the bad caused through repercussions. I wish there was an obvious answer to this!Colinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17056233439191832412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5638402958079714573.post-21453280681160161822011-03-05T10:42:12.393-06:002011-03-05T10:42:12.393-06:00http://www.cnn.com/video/http://www.cnn.com/video/C Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12494721575408184121noreply@blogger.com
